VenetianPrincess became famous on YouTube. Her videos are usually parodies of songs and events in pop culture. She is the most subscribed female of all time on YouTube globally, and #9 out of all people on YouTube with over 406,000 subscribers, and over 100 million views,. She gained notoriety in 2006 after being featured on the frontpage of YouTube, and then in 2007 was one of the first people invited into YouTube’s revenue sharing program. Her videos have been viewed 90 million times. In December 2008, Samsung announced that her music video for her original song “Somewhere Else” is the pre-installed video on all Samsung Behold cell phones. PC World Magazine named her “7 Things Guys Don’t Have To Do” music video one of the top 10 viral videos of 2008.
On February 21, 2008, VenetianPrincess announced that she had been cast as a principal role in a new national television series from the producers of such films as Indiana Jones, Top Gun, Forrest Gump, Pretty Woman, and Ghost. The show was set to air this summer/fall, however VenetianPrincess has stated in her live show that she has backed out of the project, due to a possible deal with NBC as was mentioned in two news articles, one printed in the Boston Globe.
VenetianPrincess also appeared in two episodes of HBO’s web show Elevator: Drunk Dial and Telemarketer.
In April 2009, VenetianPrincess said in an interview for Net News Daily that she has a development deal with a major television network. She also revealed that she earns a six-figure salary from her YouTube videos.
